I digiscrapping and my favorite place to scrap online has been with my friends at Deco-Pages! I was a member Creative Team for 4 1/2 years and had the opportunity to make LOs for all the wonderful designers at Deco-Pages. The site is now closed and I miss it so VERY much!

I am taking a break from my digital scrapping...but to prevent withdrawal symptoms, I am on two Creative Teams for now! Check out their blogs and watch here for my layouts with their great kits!

Layout of the Day on some recent Challenge Layouts!

I did a quick LO for the Quote Challenge hosted by Designs by Abbe using her kit Indian Blanket and it was chosen LOTD. DD loves purple and so does Avery...so the background was an easy choice. Avery and Mom's clothing matched, but Luke had on red...thus the inspiration for coloring the photo! The edge is a mask...or as called in DIS2006 designer's edge. Liked how it let some blue come through! I recolored the daisy just a little to make it more subtle and to add a touch of turquoise . Loved working on this challenge LO!

A few weeks ago I submitted some LOs for the Color Challenge...this one of Reese "Talking to the Flowers" was chosen as LOTD! I used the
Color Challenge Starter Kit - Spring Breezes by Jennifer Rassi who hosted this challenge for May.

If you do 5 total LOs you get additional parts of the kit as rewards...used this opportunity to scrap some more LOs of Reese from her visit when Tonia came to help Jennifer and Freddie pack up for their move.

Creating Today with It FELT Like Spring by Deb Ammerman

Kid's spent the night with Papa and Nana...Luke wanted to go for a walk...took this photo by the CR sign of the road leading to our house...1/2 mile from the house.

Love all the color choices in the wonderful kit It FELT like Spring by Deb Ammerman. You can also design your own flowers using several choices of felt leaves, stems and many lovely flowers.

Luke had quite an adventure on our walk...first found a number of dandelions to blow, couldn't resisting throwing rocks all along the way, and the highlight was when our neighbors donkeys came up to the fense and let Luke pet them.

Love all the color choices in the wonderful kit It FELT like Spring by Deb Ammerman. Along with all the wonderful felt flowers, there are also stamped flowers and some plaid fabric flowers. And lots of borders, staples with bead, and frames!

Happy Mother's Day to Jennifer

They must have resized video as it is a blurry. The video I e-mailed to Jennifer was not blurry and could be opened to full screen.

Cousins Make the Best Friends

To relax a little Sunday afternoon, I attended the Deco-Pages Speed Scrap Challenge online. We all meet in the chat room and visit while we are given instructions on what to include on our page and how and where to place each item. It's always fun to see all the different LOs that are submitted in the gallery.

The sweetest part of this picture is that the hug from Avery was spontaneous.

All the pieces were piled in front of Reese. Reese was playing and chewing on them. Avery came over and told Reese we don't chew on these and took each piece from Reese's mouth and stacked it. Nana told Avery how sweet Reese was to share her toys and Avery just reached down and gave her a hug. I have about 5 pics leading up to this moment...so with camera in hand, I caught this hug! Some day I'll scrap those pics...Reese just let her have each piece and pick up another one to chew on!

Frames are from Nouveau Summer by Retro Designs.
Everything else is from Deb Ammerman's PreSkool Kit. I blended the blue and red papers to add some pink to the LO.

Dreaming LOs created using Celestial by SherrysScraps

Avery's 2nd soccer game of the season was at 9:00 a.m. and then Luke's game was later that afternoon. This little soccer player who mostly skipped down the field was tired and needed a little nap during Luke's game! Avery actually made 3 goals in her last game of the season...dreams DO come true!

Celestial-SherrysScraps was perfect to scrap this little soccer star who some day will shine.

When looking for sleeping pics found this one with Luke taken a nap after his big first birthday part...his outfit has a basketball and hoop on it and his baby quilt has stars and moon shapes.

Celestial-SherrysScraps was perfect to feature this little stars big dreams!

Easter Memories using Spring Is Here by Ilona

One dozen eggs I have used for years with my Sunday School class which due to health issues I no longer get to teach. Avery found them and she and Luke told Papa what role each item inside each egg played in "The Easter Story". They took turns and wanted to do it a 2nd time so we reversed the order. Luke had a hard time giving Avery enough time to get her explanations stated. He wanted to tell so he could take his turn!

The balloons that came in this kit Spring Is Here by Ilona inspired me to do this LO of celebrating "The Easter Story" and the cute chicks and flower were perfect to portray new life.

Avery found this Peek-A-Bible book "The Easter Story" and wanted Nana to read it to her. Luke thought he was too busy throwing the football with his Dad until he heard Avery was getting to peek for the answers! He climbed up and got to take turns peeking for answers to The Easter Story.

This picture is not good picture of me, but I love the memory of the moment. This word art from this Spring Is Here Kit by Ilona was so perfect for this moment!

Created two Family LOs using Sparkly Grunge Kit by CAZ

Carol (Designs by CAZ) is one of my favorite designers at Deco-Pages...love her kits and have most of them. This one was so perfect for some of the recent photos of Tonia and family!

These photos of DD and family were taken downtown in front of an old ad painted on the side of a building...love the grungy look.

Sparkly Grunge - Designs by CAZ has lots of grungy papers and sparkle elements and also has torn edges to match all the backgrounds.

Some recent photos of my grandchildren Bryce and Jordyn. The sequined bow was perfect to match JoJo's top with sequins on it and the sparkling hearts are a fun way to express the sweet brother and sister's love for each other.
