I digiscrapping and my favorite place to scrap online has been with my friends at Deco-Pages! I was a member Creative Team for 4 1/2 years and had the opportunity to make LOs for all the wonderful designers at Deco-Pages. The site is now closed and I miss it so VERY much!

I am taking a break from my digital scrapping...but to prevent withdrawal symptoms, I am on two Creative Teams for now! Check out their blogs and watch here for my layouts with their great kits!

Creating Today with Boys World by P4DS Designz-Lori Staton

Boys World by P4DS Designz-Lori Staton was such a fun kit to work with and I love the two LOs I now have from showcasing Lori's new kit!

Journaling
After lunch Avery spotted a piece of cheese from her sandwich on the driveway covered with ants and said, “Nana, I guess the WHOLE FAMILY wanted some of my cheese!

I didn't take a picture of the cheese which is surprising since I take pictures of everything...but the kit had everything I needed to illustrate Avery's observation! There was also the trail of Ants to the cheese so I had to add it here, too!

Kept Luke and Avery a few weeks ago and Luke was sitting in the big rocking chair on the porch at 7:10 a.m. waiting for Nana and came running to greet me. This picture was taken later when he was eating breakfast.

Journaling
Grandson is a lovely word
That always brings to mind
Memories of the happiest
And very warmest kind!
Thoughts of you bring memories
Through each passing year,
You've been the kind of Grandson
Who's especially sweet and dear.
If you could read my heart
Then you would surely see
With every day that passes by
You mean still more to me.

Creating with Board Battles vs Dice Duells - Bundle by Cornelia Designs

Journaling
I have no pictures of my brothers and I playing Monopoly other than those in my mind. Every Christmas break we would play Monopoly. We would stay up late trying to finish a game.
Sometimes games would last for days. I recall debates over who would be the
banker. We played for blood...even
ganged up on whoever was winning, and had
MILLIONS of Laughs over the years!

Board Battles vs Dice Duells - Bundle by Cornelia Designs
made it possible to for to make this Fun Memory.

Mom loves to play scrabble and it has been a family event for years at Christmas time. However, as extend families grew, less scrabble playing is available. Was thrilled to find these photos of my brother and his family playing with Meme (Mom)!

It's become a fun thing for me to make e-video cards for family and here's one of the two e-videos cards for my son-in-laws...both are great Fathers to our precious grandchildren.

On this Father's Day 2010 we were excited
and very proud to see you were named
Father of the Year
by Time magazine
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
Love,
Tony and Lajuana

This is 5 of the views from the e-video card...Dad's playing pitch with Luke before his game in the first pic...watching Luke's soccer game and making pointers while Luke is on the sidelines...and a few minutes later takes time out to hug Avery. Dad is helping Avery open birthday presents and in the big one he is patiently letting Avery straighten his hair with her play kit she got for her bd...she also brush it and curled it...lol!

You can watch the videos on my blog
http://www.scrapladyandmore.blogspot.com/
They are blurry on the blog but not in the e-mails sent!

This is one of my favorite photos of Tony with his Dad

Went looking for a photo of my Dad for this and found this one and only family photo...have never scrapped it and thought it would be a fun way to wish my DBs Happy Father's Day!

United for Peace Kit by Benilda Scraps at Deco-Pages.com

This United for Peace Kit by Benilda Scraps was perfect to make these two LOs for Memorial Day!

My dad served on the aircraft carrier USS Siboney during WWII. I don't recall my dad talking at all about his days in the Navy. It was before he even met mom. Just found out Mom has letters he sent to his parents during the war...can't wait to read them!
Journaling
Siboney completed fitting out on 23 May in the Seattle area, and on 31 May, sailed for San Diego. She held shakedown operations in the Bay Area until 3 August. The carrier then loaded bombs, aircraft, and personnel from Air Group 36, and on 8 August departed for Pearl Harbor. Hostilities with Japan ceased the day before Siboney arrived, on 15 August, to discharge her cargo. She was in Hawaiian waters until early September when she sailed for Okinawa, via the Marshall, Caroline, and Philippine Islands.

Ship photo and patch are from the internet.

Journaling
I saw this "all business" side of my Dad while growing up! However, I never knew how handsome he was until I saw him in uniform!

Balboa Fun Zone was and still is an amusement park that was built in 1936. Dad’s ship was in the Bay Area of California for a time before going the Pearl Harbor. From reading the accounts online, hostilities with Japan ceased the day before Siboney arrived, on 15 August 1944. How fortunate for Dad!

This above photo was taken, I assume, in Honolulu area since there is a Honolulu address listed on the back of the photo to order more copies. I knew this fun-loving guy growing up, too! Although, I have only vague memories of him smoking as he quite when I was a young child.
