I digiscrapping and my favorite place to scrap online has been with my friends at Deco-Pages! I was a member Creative Team for 4 1/2 years and had the opportunity to make LOs for all the wonderful designers at Deco-Pages. The site is now closed and I miss it so VERY much!

I am taking a break from my digital scrapping...but to prevent withdrawal symptoms, I am on two Creative Teams for now! Check out their blogs and watch here for my layouts with their great kits!

Antique Sunflowers Kit by Carol Rupley

My sunflower friend, Marsha, shown here with her growing colt. A true country gal...but was city born and raised! These are some wildflowers that grew along the edge of her vegetable garden. Our DHs consider them weeds, but we don't weed them...lol!

I took this photo after the giant sunflower was spent and leave drying. Marsha mention she kept thinking she would call me because she knew I would like to take a picture. Well, the picture turned up in my calendar Marsha always gives me for Christmas.

Journaling - I bow my head and give thanks for you - Marsha, My friend

Creating with X and O by Tom Williams

DD had the perfect pictures for Tom Williams 's X and O Kit! This background paper was the inspiration for the title of this page and was so perfect for these photos!

The FCA All Star Football game was held in Abilene this past summer. Area church member kept the kids in their homes all week while they practiced and got ready for the game. Two of the team member stay with Luke and Avery. Luke was in Football Heaven...had a great week...they boy swam with them in their pool...spent the night...ate meals with them. A great experience!

Journaling:
Two members of the Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ All Star Football Teams spent the week at Luke and Avery’s House. They were really fine Christian young men and great role models especially for Luke!

Creating with Rumi Georgieva - Las Vegas

Attended a national Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America Annual Meeting in Las Vegas...we were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and thought Vegas was a good place to hold our 2002 Annual Meeting! Got to see a few sights including the erupting volcano at the Mirage...pretty amazing to see!

One of the ladies in our group had a niece who work for Paul Anka and she got us free tickets to his show at the MGM Grand! Brought back lots of teenage memories...he opened the show with Diana and sang all his greatest hits and answered questions from the crowd!

My new little granddaughter Reese was just two weeks old for her first Halloween. She slept through most of it...lol! DD put all these Reese's candies on top of this sleeping beauty...made a 2 cute photo.

If you are like me and still have fall photos to scrap you gotta check out Fall Festival Page Kit ~ by Jen Hanson's aka Digiscrapthat! Many layouts can be made from this wonderful kit!

Okay...so I still have fall pictures to scrap...maybe it's a nice break from all the cold and snowy pictures.

I absolutely adore these wonderful puffy felt elements in Fall Festival Page Kit ~ by Jen Hanson's aka Digiscrapthat! Just noticed I didn't add a title but the pictures and the cute charms says it all!

Mom and Dad took Bryce, JoJo, and Reese to the pumpkin patch and sent these adorable pictures to Nana. Reese is tiny here and you can't see her very well, but she'll soon have her own First Halloween LO using this adorable kit!

Creating with Old Fashioned Thanksgiving by Paris Designs

My project for the kids was to make a turkey out of an apple. They were very creative...the one I made for Reese was the only one made the traditional way! They loved making these! Another great memory for these cousins!

Love these stickers from Old Fashioned Thanksgiving by Paris Designs...great for showing off the kids apple turkeys!

We had Thanksgiving with Aunt Allie's great-grandchildren...cousins we haven't seen since Luke was a baby. We made two table cloths. One for Sue, the cousin's grandmother, and one for me, the younger cousin's grandmother, and put everyone's hand prints on it, even Reese's! What a keepsake! Initials and their date of birth were put by each set of hand prints. Names and ages were printed very large around the edge of the table cloths.
Journaling:
From right to left--Ian age 14, Hannah age 16, Reese age 6 weeks (Hannah is holding her), Olivia age 12, holding Avery age 3, Luke age 6, Sophie age 11, Bryce age 8 and Jordyn age 5.

Love the stickers from Old Fashioned Thanksgiving by Paris Designs...perfect for a LO for Aunt Allie Rae who is now 91 years old. The bluebird stickers worked great, too, as there are all ages of cousins here!
